A Buddhist Monk on Sabbatical at the Sanctuary
September 21, 2006 Adam Kadmon, (Lama Karma Vajrasambhava Rinpoche),
an Australian Buddhist monk for nearly forty years, is here
at the Virginia Sanctuary for a three month sabbatical. A
student of eclectic Tibetan teachers for many years, he has
been instrumental in establishing spiritual centers all over
Australia. Adam's work has led him to some of the most
remote and exotic locales on the planet as well as into the
streets of Australia's cities to facilitate emotionally and
socially challenged youth. As a wandering mendicant, he
rarely remains in one place for very long and his daily
lifestyle is reflective of the environment in which he finds
himself.
Adam first came to know of Synchronicity from a
magazine advertisement for a Whole Life Expo in which
Master Charles was to appear. Upon first meeting Master Charles, Adam immediately
experienced Sourceful empowerment and was gifted by Master Charles with the
Recognitions Program.
Adams says that the Recognitions Program has proven to be a lifechanging
experience for him. He remarked, "it has allowed me to extract myself from the more dogmatic
aspects of my Buddhist background to be able to focus on the truthful spiritual experience
that that lies beyond all the rituals." He avidly moved through all eight phases of the
Recognitions Program into Core Dynamics, adding that all along the way, his spiritual
experience has continued to be profoundly transformational. He has also brought many
of his young students to the Synchronicity Experience to their great benefit.
He then had the opportunity to again meet Master Charles when a Synchronicity Center
was being established in Byron Bay, New South Wales. At that time, Adam was invited
by Master Charles to come and spend time at the Virginia Sanctuary with the opportunity
for a deeper focus on stillness and holistic awareness, after many years of working
continuously. Arrangements were made, visas were obtained, and Adam arrived at the
Sanctuary in early September.
Upon learning of the Blessed Mother apparition, Adam immediately related his
experience in Australia just a few weeks before coming to the United States, in which
visions of Tara manifested just at the same time that the Blessed Mother apparition
announcement was being made here by Master Charles. Tara is the Tibetan Buddhist
representation of the Divine Feminine who is said to appear in twentyone
different forms, each with its own particular qualities and focus such as compassion, wisdom,
purification, etc.
In his first visit to the Pavilion (public apparition site), Adam experienced a clear vision
of the Blessed Mother as a powerful female figure in a wine colored garment with deep
blue eyes and auburn hair. He commented that this manifestation was one of
empowerment and intensity rather than the more traditional portrayal of the Divine
Feminine as forgiving and accepting. The message that this manifestation seemed to
convey to him was indeed one of radical awakening.
During his three months sabbatical here at the Sanctuary, Adam is availing himself of the
precious opportunity to experience the holistic lifestyle that Master Charles created and
which has proven itself profoundly effective in actualizing and substantiating wholeness
and fulfillment. Adam's daily visits to the Pavilion have continued to be a source of
visionary inspiration.
As a Buddhist monk spending time in a contemporary, nonsectarian spiritual community,
Adam Kadmon is validating one of the key principles of the Synchronicity Holistic
Model of Reality, which is that wholeness is an experience beyond the mind.. beyond
concept.. and that authentic spirituality and true meditation begin where dogma ends.
We are delighted to welcome Adam to the Virginia Sanctuary.
